A Woman Died at a Kenny Chesney Show After Falling from an Escalator

A woman fell off the side of an escalator and died at Kenny Chesney’s show in Denver on Saturday.

Police said she was sitting on the railing when it happened.

Kenny told The Denver Post he was “devastated” by the news, and that he’s grieving for the woman and her family.

Update: An adult female guest at Empower Field at Mile High was sitting on an escalator railing, fell to the concourse below, and died as a result of the injuries. This is being investigated as an accidental death.
