Albert Lea woman sentenced to supervised probation on felony drug possession charge in Mower County District Court

An Albert Lea woman who pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge in Mower County District Court after an incident that took place in May of 2019 has been sentenced to supervised probation.

28-year old Athena Alizabeth Berg was convicted and sentenced Thursday to a year of supervised probation for a felony charge of 5th degree drugs, possess Schedule 1, 2, 3, 4, not small amount of marijuana.  A 15-month prison sentence was stayed for one year if Berg complies with the 18 different terms of her probation.

Berg first pleaded guilty to the charge in March.
