Austin Chambers’ Ag Appreciation Summer Cookout Tuesday evening

The Austin Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 35th Ag Appreciation Summer Cookout at the Plager Building on the Mower County Fairgrounds Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  Gary Anderson, President of the Brownsdale branch of First Farmers and Merchants State Bank talked to KAUS about what will be served at the cookout Tuesday evening…

Anderson went on to state that the event is a major fundraiser for several ag-related events and organizations throughout Mower County….

There will be expanded seating outside of the Plager Building for this year’s cookout, and individual tickets are available for purchase for $19 in advance at the Chamber office today (Monday) and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., or $20 at the door Tuesday evening.
