Austin man sentenced to prison time on aggravated robbery charges in Mower County District Court

An Austin man involved in a series of armed robberies in Mower County in December of 2020 has been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court.
19-year old Nathaniel Gerome Davenport was sentenced Thursday to four years and nine months in prison, with credit for 431 days already served after pleading guilty in June 2021 to felony charges of 1st degree aggravated robbery and aiding and abetting 1st degree aggravated robbery. Davenport was also ordered to pay $3,667 in restitution in the case, along with his three other co-defendants.
Besides Davenport, 20-year old Toby James Gogolewski of Lyle, 20-year old Patrick Harris Alston of Austin and 22-year old Ladevin Martaz Hardin of Austin were also charged in connection with four robberies in December of 2020, including the Apollo II gas station in Austin on December 6th, 2020, the Dollar General Store in Austin on December 8th of that year, Corky’s Corner Convenience store in Adams on December 9th, 2020 and Freeborn County Co-op in Lyle on December 11th, 2020.
Gogolewski was previously sentenced in Mower County District Court in June of 2021 to six years and three months in prison for felony 1st degree aggravated robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon. Gogolewski received concurrent sentences of five years and five months and four years and one in prison on two additional convictions for felony 1st degree aggravated robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon and three years and four months in prison for a felony charges of aiding/abetting first-degree aggravated robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon. Hardin was sentenced in September of 2021 to four years and two months in prison for a felony charge of 1st degree aggravated robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon, and Hardin received a concurrent sentence of three years and four months in prison for a second count of felony 1st degree aggravated robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon.
Alston was sentenced in May of 2021 to three years and six months in prison for a felony charge of aiding/abetting aggravated robbery, possession of a dangerous weapon.
