Austin man sentenced to prison time on felony charge of violating an order for protection in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who pleaded guilty in Mower County District Court to a felony charge of violating an order for protection after an incident on November 2nd, 2020 has been sentenced to prison time.

35-year old Mathew Michael Lewis, who is currently incarcerated at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault was sentenced Thursday to 26 months in prison for a felony charge of violating an order for protection. Lewis was convicted on the charge on September 13th, 2021 after pleading guilty the same day.
