Austin man sentenced to supervised probation on felony burglary charge in Mower County District Court

An Austin man facing a felony burglary charge stemming from an incident that took place on October 31st, 2021 has been sentenced to supervised probation in Mower County District Court.

31-year old Nathaniel Christopher Easley was convicted and sentenced Thursday to five years of supervised probation for a felony charge of 3rd degree burglary.  A 21-month prison sentence was stayed for five years if Easley complies with the 20 different conditions of his probation, and he first pleaded guilty to the charge on December 13th, 2021.

A felony 5th degree drug possession charge, and a misdemeanor theft charge stemming from the same incident were both dismissed with Easley’s guilty plea.
