Austin man sentenced to supervised probation on felony domestic assault charge in Mower County District Court

An Austin man facing a felony domestic assault charge stemming from an incident that took place in Austin on April 14th has been sentenced to supervised probation in Mower County District Court.

57-year old Daniel Christ Wendroth was sentenced Friday to four years of supervised probation for a felony domestic assault charge.  A prison sentence of a year and a day was stayed for four years if Wendroth adheres to the 17 different terms of his probation.  Wendroth pleaded guilty to the charge on October 22nd, and he was convicted the same day.

A felony charge of terroristic threats in the case was dismissed with Wendroth’s guilty plea.
