Austin Packers boys golf team second at Faribault triangular Tuesday
The Austin Packers boys golf team, fresh off a win in a Big 9 Conference quadrangular at the Austin Country Club Monday were right back into action Tuesday in a conference triangular at the Faribault Golf and Country Club versus the host Falcons and Rochester John Marshall, and it was the Packers taking second place with a team total of 340, ten strokes behind the first place Rockets, who fired a team total of 330. Host Faribault was third with a team total of 342.
Cale Tupy carded the low round individually for the Packers Tuesday with an 83, followed closely by teammates Elijah Krueger and Isaac Anderson, who both fired an 84. Isaac Erickson and Carter Hovelsrud both shot rounds of 89, and Owen O’Rourke registered a round of 96.
Austin is now off until Monday, May 8th, when they will host Winona in a Big 9 Conference dual meet, with the teams scheduled to tee off at the Austin Country Club at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon.
