Austin Packers boys’ tennis falls to Rochester Century Monday 7-0
The Austin Packers boys’ tennis team played host to a strong Rochester Century Panther squad at the Wescott Tennis Courts Monday, and it was the Panthers coming away with a 7-0 victory.
Head Coach Jeff Anderson reported that Joey Schammel at No. 1 singles played a very strong match against Joshua Christenson, one of the best players in the state, and he also stated that Max Larson at No. 4 singles played his best match of the season against Century’s Grant Goetz.
Austin is back into action this afternoon in Albert Lea versus the Tigers in the Big 9 Conference, with the action slated to get underway at 4:30 p.m.
