Austin Packers boys tennis team to open Section 1AA Team Tournament at home Monday versus Winona

The seedings have been determined for the Section 1AA Team Boys Tennis Tournament, and the Austin Packers garnered the No. 7 seed, which means they will play host to No. 10 Winona at Paulson Courts at the Wescott Athletic Complex today (Monday), with the action scheduled to start at 4 p.m.

If the Packers are victorious, they would advance to play No. 2 seed Lakeville North in Lakeville on Wednesday, May 15th.  Other first-round matchups in the tournament today (Monday) will pit No. 11 seed Farmington against No. 6 seed Rochester Century in Rochester, with the winner advancing to play No. 3 seed Northfield Wednesday, No. 12 seed Albert Lea will travel to No. 6 seed Rochester John Marshall, with the winner heading to No. 4 seed Owatonna Wednesday, and No. 9 seed Lakeville South will be in Faribault today to take on the No. 8 seed Falcons, with the winner traveling to Rochester Wednesday to take on the No. 1 seeded Mayo Spartans.

The Section 1AA team semi-finals and finals will then be played on Friday, May 19th.
