The Austin Packers girls basketball team was in search of win number two in a row as they played host to Big 9 Conference and Section 1AAA rival Red Wing at Ove Berven Gym Tuesday evening, and junior guard Ajiem Agwa scored 19 of her 26 points in the second half as the Packers rallied from a 20-17 deficit at the half to down the Wingers 54-48.

Besides Agwa’s 26 points, fellow guard Quinn Osgood scored 11 of her 13 points in the second half, Addison Walsh tallied five points, Gracie Arndt chipped in four points, Marissa Shute totaled three points, Atee Obang scored two points, and Mackenzie Brede tallied one point in the win.

With the win, the Packers are now 5-7 overall on the season and 4-5 in the Big 9 Conference, and the club returns to action in Northfield Friday night versus the Raiders in a Big 9 Conference tilt, with the varsity tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
