Austin Packers girls’ golf competes at Faribault quadrangular

The Austin Packers girls’ golf team was on the road Monday at the Faribault Golf and Country Club for a Big 9 Conference quadrangular with the host Falcons, along with Rochester John Marshall and Rochester Century, and it was the Rockets claiming first place with a team total of 388, followed by Century in second with 419, Faribualt was third with a team score of 467, and Austin was fourth with a team total of 495.
Mallory Brown shot the low score for Austin Monday with a 112, followed by teammate Anita Rao with a 116, Izzy Sellers fired a 125 and Allie Alm shot a 142. The Packers are back in action Thursday in a seven-team invitational hosted by Red Wing at Mississippi National Golf Links. The invitational will inlcude not only Austin and Red Wing, but also Byron, Cannon Falls, Lake City, Rochester Century and Winona, with the action scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.
