The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms girls basketball team kicked off a three-game homestand to start the 2024 portion of their schedule Friday night versus Gopher Conference foe Maple River, and it was the Eagles utilizing 16 3-pointers and constant pressure both offensively and defensively to down the Blossoms 67-49.

Shawntee Snyder poured in 23 points to lead BP offensively, while Macy Lembke drained all three of the Blossom’s 3-pointers in the game on her way to 11 points.  Catelynn Bartlett added five points, Claire Schwarz chipped in four points, adn Addison Doocy, Sienna Fyksen and Ella Smith all scored two points apiece.

The Blossoms are now 8-3 overall on the season and 5-2 in the Gopher Conference, and Blooming Prairie returns to the court at home versus Triton Tuesday evening, with the Gopher Conference matchup getting underway at 7:15 pm that evening.
