The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms girls basketball team was looking to snap a two-game losing streak Monday evening as they traveled to St. Charles to take on the Saints in a non-conference game, and it was the Blossoms racing out to a 29-5 halftime lead on their way to a 57-13 win.

Guard Shawntee Snyder led the Blossoms in scoring Monday evening with 14 points, Addison Doocy was also in double figures with 10 points, Sienna Fyksen swished a 3-pointer on her way to eight points, Ella Smith also nailed a 3 for seven points overall, Macy Lembke totaled six points, Ella Salinas added five points, Claire Schwarz chipped in three points, and Catelyn Bartlett and Lila Quail each scored two points in the lopsided win.

With the win, the Awesome Blossoms are now 11-5 overall and 5-4 in the Gopher Conference.  The Blossoms return to action Friday in in Wells versus United South Central in the Gopher Conference, with tip-off at 7:15 p.m. that evening.
