Blooming Prairie man sentenced to supervised probation on violating a DANCO charge in Mower County District Court

A Blooming Prairie man facing charges for violating a domestic abuse no-contact order in Mower County District Court stemming from incidents that took place in August and November of 2021 has been sentenced to supervised probation .  

49-year old Richard Dominguez was sentenced Thursday to two years of supervised probation for a felony charge of violating a domestic abuse no-contact order stemming from an incident that occurred on November 24th, 2021.  A prison term of a year and a day was stayed for two years if Dominguez complies with the terms of his probation, and he was also sentenced Thursday to two years of supervised probation for a gross misdemeanor charge of violating a domestic abuse no-contact order stemming from an incident that took place on August 11th, 2021.  A one-year jail sentence was stayed for two years if Dominguez adheres to the conditions of his probation, and he was convicted on the two charges on February 14th, 2022 after pleading guilty the same day.

A felony motor vehicle theft charge and gross misdemeanor charges for violation of a domestic abuse no-contact order and for domestic assault against Dominguez stemming from an incident that took place on December 19th, 2020 were dismissed with Dominguez’s guilty pleas.
