Blooming Prairie volleyball downed by Dover-Eyota 3-0 Monday evening

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossom volleyball team, coming off a 1-3 day Saturday at the United South Central tournament was looking for win number two in a row Monday night in Dover against Dover-Eyota, but it was the host Eagles coming away with a 3-0 win 25-17, 27-25 and 25-16.

Abby Hefling put down seven kills to lead the Blossoms offensivley, plus she added an ace serve, a block and one dig, Haven Carlson added six kills, four ace serves to lead the club in that category, three blocks and a dig, Josie Hoffman chipped in two kills, an ace serve and she led BP in digs defensivley with 11, Anna Pauly tallied two kills, three blocks and a dig, Macy Lembke led the Blossoms in set assists with eight, plus she posted seven digs, Lexi Steckelberg added six set assists, one kill and three digs, Madi Lea contributed one kill, one block and seven digs defensivley and Madelaine Stoen added an ace serve and one dig.

Blooming Prairie falls to 3-14 on the season with the loss, and the Blossoms are back on the court Thursday night in New Richland for a Gopher Conference matchup with NRHEG, with the varsity start time set for 7:15 p.m.
