-Grand Meadow Schools will close at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 9th, and there will also be no afternoon pre-school
-Southland Public Schools will close at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 9th, and their middle school and high school conferences have been cancelled
-The Section 1A and 1AA girls basketball championship games scheduled for tonight at the Mayo Civic Center Arena in Rochester have been postponed to Friday, March 10th, with Grand Meadow and Hayfield playing in the 1A championship game at the Mayo Civic Center Auditorium at 5 p.m. Friday evening, followed by Goodhue and Caledonia for the 1AA title at 8 p.m.
