CDC issues alert: stop vaping right now

The CDC issued an urgent alert on Friday telling Americans to stop vaping immediately.

There have been approximately 450 cases of a mysterious lung disease reported in 33 states, with at least five deaths, and it’s all being attributed to vaping.

No one’s quite sure what’s causing the outbreak, but the CDC thinks there might be some chemical that’s doing it, possibly the vitamin E in a lot of the oils.

Until they figure out what it is, the CDC says, “people should consider not using e-cigarette products.”
