The LaCrosse, Wisconsin office of the National Weather Service surveyed the Taopi area Wednesday morning and determined that the EF2 tornado that impacted the town directly packed winds of up to 130 miles per hour, and they also determined that the tornado was on the ground for 7.3 miles.
