Coronavirus Cases In Children Have Gone Up 21% In August

New data shows that coronavirus cases in children have gone up by 21% in just the last two weeks.
According to a report from the American Academy of Pediatrics and Children’s Hospital Association, 70,000 children were infected between August 6th and August 20th.
In total, about 440,000 children have contracted the virus since the pandemic began.
The news comes as many children prepare to return to school – with some schools already dealing with outbreaks.
