Discover Austin debuted their newest tool to promote tourism in the Austin area Friday morning, a VW Beetle nicknamed the “SquealMobile.” Nancy Schnabel, Executive Director of Discover Austin spoke with KAUS during the presentation ceremony Friday morning and stated that it took a lot of people coming together to make the project a reality…
Schnabel went on to state that the “SquealMobile” will be promoting tourism in Austin around the state thanks also, in large part, to local and state grant funding for the project…
Discover Austin is looking to the community to give the vehicle an official name, and you can submit your ideas via email at [email protected]. Name suggestions must be submitted by June 30th.
