Dolly Parton to Read Children’s Books in New YouTube Series

National treasure Dolly Parton wants to give parents a wholesome, educational option for kids while at home during the outbreak.  Parton has announced a new YouTube series called “Goodnight, Dolly” where she’ll read children stories.

In a statement Parton said “This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time but the timing never felt quite right. I think it is pretty clear that now’s the time to share a story and some love.  It’s an honor for me to share the incredible talents of these authors and illustrators who make us smile, laugh and think.”

Slap on those jammies, grab the cookies and milk and tune into the first installment of the ten-week series when it airs Thursday, April 2nd at 6:00pm on YouTube.

Wonder if she’ll sing us a lullaby, too?!
