A British man has become the first person to complete a marathon in every one of Earth’s 196 countries!

While accomplishing the feat in a lifetime would be impressive enough, Nick Butter — who finished the quest on Sunday with a marathon in Greece — did it by the age of 30!

Along the way, he says he’s garnered a lifetime of experiences. “I was bitten by a dog, I was mugged, I was robbed at knife point, I was put in a cell,” Butter says.

He’s also run around erupting volcanoes, frolicked along pristine beaches and even completed an entire marathon on airport runways.

Best of all, it was for a good cause: Butter has raised more than $86,000 for prostate cancer research!

“You’ve got to value your time,” Butter says. “You cannot just assume that you’re going to get to retirement and live this life; you’ve got to go and do what you want now.”
