Football world shocked by former Vikings assistant Adam Zimmer’s death at 38 years old

Adam Zimmer, former Vikings assistant coach and son of former Head Coach Mike Zimmer, has passed away. He was 38.

As reported by FOX 9, Adam Zimmer’s sister posted the news on social media.

“My heart is shattered and it hurts so bad. I don’t know how to juggle being a mom to one year old twin boys and the grief of losing my brother so unexpectedly,” she wrote.

“Please pray for our family as we try to navigate through this. Lord, we need your strength now more than ever. Please don’t let us lose faith.”

Zimmer had been serving as an Offensive Analyst for the Cincinnati Bengals this season.

No information about the circumstances of his death has been released.
