When You Shouldn’t Travel Over The Holidays

You may already have holiday travel plans locked in. If not, you might want to avoid these dates!
Travel correspondent Chris McGuiness published a calendar of the best, worst and so-so dates to travel during the holiday season.
Friday, December 20th is likely to be awful because of business travelers returning home and others starting their vacations. The entire weekend will be pretty busy. The following weekend starting on December 28th will be pretty hectic for travelers as well.
If you are looking for the best travel days, leave on the actual holidays. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and early on New Year’s Day are predicted to be smoother sailing to get you back and forth.
