Hollandale man whose life was saved by the city’s First Responders and others after having no natural heartbeat for 28 minutes to be cited at appreciation ceremony Friday night

An appreciation ceremony will be held in Hollandale at the city’s fire hall early Friday evening to honor the life-saving work of the city’s first responders.  Among the examples of their work that will be honored tonight will be the case of Gordon Loverink of Hollandale, who talked about how the city’s first responders and others saved his life in 2015…


Loverink stated that he was without a natural heartbeat and breathing his own breath for 28 minutes….

Loverink went on to talk about how he’s doing now….

The ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday evening at the Hollandale Fire Hall.
