Fans may be asking for Morgan Wallen and ERNEST to get back together for entire acoustic album following the release of this unplugged version of “Flower Shops”.

It’s ERNEST’s fifth studio single, but the first to chart on Billboard. It’s slated to be released on a future TBD ERNEST album.

The idea for the song came from, of all people, professional golfer John Daly. Daly was drinking with ERNEST in Nashville and suggested ERNEST listen to a Willie Nelson song called “Whiskey And Water”, according to Music Mayhem Magazine.

“I was playing a bunch of George Jones’ songs, and there was one song I never heard called ‘A Good Year For The Roses,’ which the artist revealed about a critically acclaimed tune that speaks on making small talk. “So, Burgess was like, ‘man, this is pretty cool! We should write something kind of like his. We went back and forth and finally landed on “Good Day For Flower Shops,” ERNEST told writers Andrew Wendowski & Tiffany Goldstein.
