Lakeville man dead after motorcycle accident on Interstate 35 in Freeborn County late Sunday morning

A Lakeville man is dead after a motorcycle accident on Interstate 35 in Freeborn County late Sunday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2007 Harley-Davidson touring motorcycle being driven by Michael Gerard Kerns of Lakeville was southbound on Interstate 35 at approximately 11:28 a.m. Sunday morning when he lost control and went into the median barrier at milepost 3 in Freeman Township.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, the Glenville Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene late Sunday morning.
