LeRoy man sentenced to 10+ years in prison on felony criminal sexual conduct charge in Mower County District Court

A LeRoy man who sexually abused a then-15 year old girl from August 1st, 2019 to July 31st of 2020 has been sentenced to prison time in Mower County District Court.

22-year old Aidan Bebee Lauseng was convicted and sentenced Monday to 144 months, or 12 years in prison on a felony charge of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct, penetration, victim under the age of 16, significant relationship, multiple acts.  Judge Kevin Siefken determined that Lauseng will be subject to 10 years of conditional release after confinement, and he was given credit for five days already served.

Lauseng originally pleaded not guilty to the charge on September 3rd, 2020, but then changed his plea to guilty on April 9th, 2021.  Lauseng changed his plea a second time when he pleaded not guilty on September 14th, 2021, but then changed his plea a third time when he switched his plea back to guilty on July 30th of this year.
