Luke Bryan turns getting booed in Iowa into a Blake Shelton slam

Luke Bryan was onstage in Iowa on his Farm Tour when he told the crowd he’s a Georgia Bulldogs fan, and that they were going to “whip your ass” this year.

It didn’t go over well, but he recovered with this comeback:

“Y’all are booing me. That’s the first time I’ve ever felt like Blake Shelton.”

(The comment was an odd one for Luke to make, and also an odd one for Iowa football fans to be offended by; because, as far as we can tell, Georgia has NEVER played Iowa or Iowa State).
