It was Game 2 of a three-game homestand for the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys basketball team Friday evening as they played host to the Cobras of Rochester STEM Academy at All Saints Arena, and it was the Athletics jumping out to a 27-4 lead and never looking back in a 69-20 win.

The Athletics led 31-6 at the half, and 10 different players broke into the scoring column Friday night, including Chase Bauer, who led LP with 20 points, nine rebounds, two assists and three steals, Andrew Fredrick tallied a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds, plus he added one assist and three steals, Landon Meyer totaled eight points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals, Dylan Christianson and Marshall Burma each scored five points apiece, Isaac Nelsen chipped in four points,  Isaac Small tallied three points, and Leland Hicks, Jack Klingfus and Grayson Bickler all scored two points apiece in the win.

With the win, their second in a row, the Athletics are now 10-12 on the season, and the club will wrap up their three-game homestand Tuesday night against Glenville-Emmons in the Southeast Conference, with tip-off at 7:15 p.m. that evening.
