A woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 35 in Freeborn County Saturday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2017 Chevy Silverado being driven by 53-year old Todd Alan Vanessen of Edgerton and a 2020 Freightliner tractor being driven by 58-year old Denece Lynn Frisbie were both northbound and alongside one another on Interstate 35 at approximately 7:39 a.m. Saturday morning when they collided at milepost 13 in Bancroft Township.

Frisbie suffered non-life threatening injuries, and she was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Albert Lea for treatment, while Vanessen was uninjured.  The State Patrol indicated that both parties were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident, and Clarks Grove and Mayo Ambulance both assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene Saturday morning.
