Study: People who Think a lot Die Sooner than People Who Don’t

Good news for all the under-thinkers of the world: A new study reveals thinking too much can lead to a shorter life span!
The Harvard Medical School Study, which appears in the journal “Nature,” found people who are deep thinkers have higher levels of protein in their brains.
Brain tissue taken from people who died in their 60s and 70s contained high levels of the protein, suggesting they did a lot of thinking in their lifetimes.
However, tissue from people who lived to be over 100 had very low levels of the protein, suggesting they were no Einsteins. If you’re the smartest person in the room but don’t want to be the first to leave, the authors of the study suggest meditation to give your brain a rest.
