Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Manny Guy of the Austin Packers football team!

Guy, a junior wide receiver and defensive back for the Packers has been improving steadily as the season has went on, and he hauled in seven passes for a career-high 145 yards and a touchdown in a Week 7 matchup against Rochester Mayo at Art Hass Stadium, and he added another four catches for 77 yards and a touchdown in a 45-6 win over Albert Lea Wednesday evening.  Guy also played a role in a defensive effort in the game for Austin, as the Packers held the Tigers to only 57 net yards and five first downs, plus they forced three turnovers in the win.
