Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week Lathan Wilson of the Austin Packers wrestling team!

Wilson, a senior for the Packers at 126 pounds, downed Kai Kobyashi of Rochester Mayo in a true 2nd match at the Section 1AAA individual wrestling tournament at the Rochester Civic Center last Saturday to qualify for the State Class AAA Individual Wrestling Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  Wilson enters the tournament with a record of 28-7 on the season, and he was a winner by forfeit over freshman Grant Marr of Forest Lake in the first round of the tournament on Friday, and he will next meet either Landon Robideau, a 42-1 freshman from St. Michael-Albertville or Liam Anderson, a 30-11 junior from Rosemount in the winner’s bracket quarterfinals.
