Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Landon Meyer of the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics baseball team!

Meyer, a freshman for the Athletics acheived a rare feat last Saturday at Marcusen Park versus Blooming Prairie when he went a perfect 6 for 6 at the plate with a double, a RBI and six runs scored in a 28-4 win, plus he was 1 for 5 with a RBI and a run scored to help lead the Athletics to a 8-5, come-from-behind win at St. Clair Monday, and Meyer was also 1 for 4 with a run scored from his leadoff position in the batting order Tuesday in a 3-1 win on the road Tuesday at Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons.  Meyer has helped the Athletics reel off a six-game winning streak heading toward the start of the Section 1A playoffs next Wednesday.
