Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Jed Nelson of the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics baseball team!

Nelson, a senior center fielder for Lyle/Pacelli belted a rare, inside-the-park grand slam homerun and knocked in five runs overall to help the Athletics down Mabel-Canton 18-0 in five innings at Marcusen Park in Austin Thursday.  Nelson was also 2 for 3 with a RBI and a run scored in Spring Valley Tuesday as Lyle/Pacelli cruised by GMLOK 11-1 in five innings, and he has played a major role in helping the Athletics bolt out to a 6-0 start.
