Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Jake Truckenmiller of the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics boys basketball team!

Truckenmiller, a senior guard for the Athletics went over 1,000 points for his career in a game in front of the hometown fans in Lyle versus Glenville/Emmons Thursday night, as he tallied a double-double with 21 points, 12 steals, three rebounds and eight assists in a 77-42 LP win, and he led four players in double figures with 25 points Tuesday evening in a 92-24 win over Grand Meadow.  Truckenmiller is one of the leaders for an Athletics squad that is now 20-3 overall on the regular season and champions of the West Division of the Southeast Conference with a 9-0 division record and 17-1 overall in conference play.
