Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Benita Nolt of the LeRoy/Ostrander Cardinals girls basketball team!

Nolt, a junior forward for the Cardinals not only led the team in scoring in a game versus Wabasha/Kellogg in LeRoy Tuesday evening.  she also achieved a career milestone as she pulled in the 1,000th rebound of her career.  Nolt, who is averaging 11.6 rebounds per game also led the team with 17 points in a 58-57 overtime win at home versus Lyle/Pacelli Thursday evening.
