Overby Orthodontics Prep Athletes of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athletes of the Week, Hannah Fritz, Kiki Rodriguez and Reese Norton of the Austin Packers gymnastics team!

The trio of Packers qualified for the State Class A Individual Gymnastics Meet last Saturday at the Section 1A gymnastics meet in Winona, as Fritz advanced to state on the vault and the balance beam, as she was sixth on the vault with a score of 8.975, and she finished third on the beam with a final score of 8.95.  Rodriguez and Norton  both advanced to state on the floor exercise Saturday, as Rodriguez was first with a score of 9.5, and Norton was fifth with a score of 9.15.  Fritz, Rodriguez and Norton will all be competing at the State Class A Individual Gymnastics Meet Saturday at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul.
