On October 1, 2017, 60 country music fans were gunned down while attending a festival in Las Vegas.
Fans had come from all over the country to watch a stellar lineup of superstars, including Jason Aldean, who was on stage when the shooting began.
Three days after the shooting, Eric Church played “Why Not Me”, a reflective song he’d written about the day at the Grand Ole Opry.
