Rochester man dead after one-vehicle rollover-type accident in Mower County Wednesday

A Rochester man is dead after a one-vehicle rollover-type accident on Interstate 90 just east of Austin late Wednesday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2018 Mack garbage truck being driven by 53-year old Dean Allen Sinnwell of Rochester was westbound on I-90 at 11:56 a.m. Wednesday morning when the vehicle entered the median and rolled over, coming to rest on the south side of the eastbound lanes at milepost 183.

Sinnwell was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin, where he was pronounced dead.  The State Patrol reported that Sinnwell was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, and the Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene late Wednesday morning.
