Rochester man injured in one-vehicle accident in Brownsdale Sunday morning

A Rochester man was injured in a one-vehicle accident in the city of Brownsdale Sunday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2015 BMW X3 SUV being driven by 58-year old Barrie Duane Wutschke of Rochester was northbound on Highway 56/Pleasant St. in Brownsdale at approximately 9:37 a.m. Sunday morning when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Wutschke sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident, and he was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin for treatment. The State Patrol indicated that Wutschke was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, and the Mower County Sheriff’s Office, the Brownsdale Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance all assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene Sunday morning.
