The Salvation Army of Austin is in dire need of volunteers to man red kettles around the city as their Red Kettle Campaign continues this holiday season.  Major Jeff Strickler with the Salvation Army in Austin spoke with KAUS and stated that the kettles are at the same number of locations around Austin this year…

Major Strickler went on to state that the Salvation Army is in great need of volunteers to fill the remaining 1,590 hours to help them reach their fundraising goal for this year’s campaign with only two weeks left until Christmas….

Major Strickler stated that besides dropping money into red kettles at the various locations around Austin, there are several other ways to donate as well, including using your phone to scan a QR code at the kettles to donate online..
