Update: One in custody, no injuries following standoff in Dodge Center

A police standoff in Dodge Center ended without injuries early Monday evening.

Civil authorities had issued a Shelter in Place order for the city of Dodge Center on Monday afternoon.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to the 500 block of 3rd Avenue Northwest in Dodge Center. Authorities later said that a 65-year-old man was involved in a police standoff for several hours.

Police say the man may have a history of mental illness, and had a previous warrant issued for terroristic threats, domestic violence, and assault.
