St. Paul man sentenced to supervised probation on felony violating no-contact order charge in Mower County District Court

A St. Paul man facing four separate charges in Mower County District Court, including a felony for violating a no-contact order has been sentenced to supervised probation.

23-year old Austin Michael Navarro was sentenced Friday to five years of supervised probation for a felony charge of violating a no-contact order within the first 10 years of the first of two or more convictions.  A 15-month prison sentence was stayed for five years if Navarro complies with the 22 different conditions of his probation, and he first pleaded guilty to the charge on September 13th, 2021 which stemmed from an incident that occurred on July 11th that same year.

Navarro was also convicted on the charge on September 13th, and a felony charge for violation of a domestic abuse no-contact order, a gross misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest and a petty misdemeanor charge for possession of drug paraphernalia in the case were dismissed with Navarro’s guilty plea.
