Texas man arrested after firing into the air, shooting self

An unnamed 31-year-old man in Texas was arrested when he was found “with a single gunshot wound to the buttock,” according to local police via KSAT.

Police say the man had apparently been firing shots into the air, and somehow accidentally shot himself.

The arrest was for outstanding warrants.

He’ll be fine (medically). The man was treated and is in stable condition.

No mention of any other gun-related charges.
