Three additional COVID-19 cases recorded in Mower County Tuesday for cumulative total of 11,773

Mower County logged 11,270 confirmed and 503 probable COVID-19 cases Tuesday for a cumulative total of 11,773 since the onset of the pandemic, up three from Monday, according to statistics released Tuesday by the Minnesota Department of Health.  Health officials added that the total number of positive cases, including reinfections for the duration of the pandemic now stands at 1,442,815, and over 1,407,600 people in Minnesota have now been determined as no longer needing isolation.

Olmsted County recorded 40,280 cumulative cases Tuesday, a rise of 23 from Monday, Steele County reported 10,258 cumulative cases Tuesday, up three from Monday and Freeborn County confirmed 9,025 cumulative COVID-19 cases Tuesday, up four from Monday.  Dodge County now has 5,634 cumulative cases, up two from Monday and Fillmore County recorded 4,718 cumulative COVID-19 cases Tuesday, up one from Monday.  

The Minnesota Department of Health reported 483 positive COVID-19 tests in the state Tuesday for a cumulative total of 1,360,593, and they added that nine additional COVID-19 tests were recorded in the state from Monday to Tuesday for a cumulative total of 12,289 since the onset of the pandemic.  A total of 61,035 COVID-19 patients in Minnesota have required hospitalization since the start of the pandemic, and 11,293 of those patients have required treatment in intensive care units, up one from Monday.
