UPDATE- Lockdown at Austin High School concluded

The school day at Austin High School has resumed after the building was placed on lockdown due to a security concern this (Wednesday) afternoon.

Austin Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Joey Page stated in a message to parents that the building was in lockdown from 12:06 p.m. to 1:59 p.m., and he added that the safety and security of the students is the district’s top priority.
