Welcome home, Red Devils! Nearly 700 National Guard troops return to St. Paul

Some 700 members of the Minnesota National Guard’s 34th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade have returned home to St. Paul.
In their support role for Operation Spartan Shield in the Middle East, two U.S. and one Coalition service member were killed in Syria earlier this year.

The Guard says the remaining soldiers still deployed will return soon.
